As part of “Academic Collaboration”, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Dimapur Govt. College, Dimapur and City College of Arts and Commerce, Dimapur on 30th May 2022 at Dimapur Govt. College for a period of two (2) years, which is subject to renewal and extension, having agreed to jointly organize symposia, conferences, short courses and meetings on research activities. Literary activities, games and sports will also be jointly organized. Both parties also agreed to provide access to the library facilities for both faculty and students. The MoU was signed by the Principal of Dimapur Govt. College Dr. M. Libanthung Ngullie and the Principal of City College of Arts and Commerce Dr. Nalina Kumar. The signing of the MoU is done with the objective of with the objective of enhancing academic and research activities.

As part of “Institutional Collaboration”, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Dimapur Govt. College, Dimapur and Unity College, Dimapur on 26th May 2022 at Dimapur Govt. College for a period of three (3) years and is subject to renewal and extension. This MoU agrees to jointly participate in programs relating to respective college activities which will include faculty exchange programs, to organize and conduct research activities along with sports, literary and cultural competitions and programs. The MoU was signed by the Principal of Dimapur Govt. College Dr. M. Libanthung Ngullie and his counterpart from Unity College Dr. Lichumo Enie. The signing of the MoU seeks to foster institutional growth through wider collaboration, networking and exchange of resources between the two colleges.

The Department of Education ,Dimapur Govt .College undertook a Motivational Programme for Stakeholders consisting of Teachers ,Parents and School Management Committee of Government Primary School ,Senjem, Dimapur in collaboration with IQAC, Dimapur Govt. College, on 13th May 2022 at 10 a.m . The HOD Department of Education along with three Associate Professors and one Assistant Professor from the Department attended the programme .

The Resource Person Ms. Rebainla spoke on the role and responsibilities of Teachers. She appealed to the Teachers to observe and understand the psychology of every child as every child is unique having different potentialities .Resource Person Ms. Keweu Vupru spoke on the Parents responsibilities as stakeholders . She urged the Parents to be role models and emphasized on the importance of parental involvement to a child’s success in school and life .The need to monitor the child’s progress in school by co-ordinating with Teachers and to actively participate in all school Activities were reiterated . Resource Person DR. Benjongkumba spoke on the role of School Management Committee (SMC) . As role of SMC is very important he urged upon the members of SMC to play their role sincerely with valid action plan for the growth and  development of the school. The school belongs to the community and it is the responsibility of the community members for the proper functioning of the school so that government schools in Nagaland can attract more students and people will develop confidence in school management .The programme concluded with expression of Thanks and gratitude from the concern stakeholders and requested the college and the Department of Education to extend more support towards the school even in future .

The department of Education undertook an Educational Tour for the Honours Students To Plain Karbi Mission English School, Pokaigaon, Assam on 27th April 2022. The tour was based on the theme “Discovering New Insights Through Practice” keeping in mind the opportunities for the students to explore and experience practically what they have learned in the classroom.

During the Tour students were given the opportunities to prepare a teaching plan incorporating activities to make their interaction with the school students more interesting. Students were divided into 10 groups to enable them to cover all the classrooms for teaching and interaction.

Faculty members also had a fruitful interactive session with the school teachers. Among the teachers who spoke in the programme were Ms. Diethoseu Mepfhuo HOD and Ms. Rebainla, Associate Professor. The rest of the faculty members participated in the interaction with the school teachers.

Altogether 48 Students and 6 Teachers of the Department participated in the educational tour.

A one day Basic Training on Library Management was held on the 13th May 2022 at Dimapur Government College. The event was conducted under the Staff Development Programme initiative. The programme was jointly organized by the IQAC and Library Advisory Committee of the institute.

         A total of 17 participants from various colleges and higher secondary schools from Dimapur participated in the programme. The principal of Dimapur Govt. College, Dr M.Libanthung Ngullie welcomed all and shared words of encouragement with the participants.

        Three sessions were conducted in all. The first session at 10 a.m was taken by Neiketu Siam, Sr. librarian, Dimapur Govt. College on accessioning and classification. The second session at 11.40 a.m was conducted by Pintu Chakravarty, Librarian, Pranabananda Womens College where he gave an introduction to library automation. The third and final session at 1.30 p.m was taken by Er. Pikato Wotsa, IT Officer, Oriental Theological Seminary. He gave an overview of Library Technology.

        The sessions were chaired by Neiketu Siam and the concluding remarks were given by the Principal, Dimapur Govt. College. He also gave away the certificates to the participants.
