Report On One Day Orientation Programme on 11th August, 2023 for the Introduction Of M.A Education in Dimapur Govt. College
A one day orientation programme for the introduction of M.A (Education) in DGC was held in the Seminar Hall, Dimapur Govt. College on the 11th of August, 2023 from 10 am. The programme began with a brief introduction by the chairperson, Ms. Rebainla Ao, Associate Professor, DGC about the long planned and awaited introduction of the PG programme in department and the college from 2023 session onwards. Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Principal, DGC, delivered the welcome address and conveyed his gratitude to the team of experts headed by Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, department of Education, Nagaland University who came to orient the teachers of the department of Education, DGC. In the three sessions that took place, Ms. Narola Chuba, Assistant Prof., Dept. of Education, NU, gave an overview about the entire structure of M.A Education, followed by Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, who explained about the methodology to be used in M.A dissertation and finally ended with Dr. B.V.Rao, Assistant Prof., NU, who delivered his presentation on Quantitative and Qualitative Research.
The much-needed orientation programme before the start of M.A classes ended with Ms Diethoseu Mepfhuo, HoD, dept. of Education, DGC delivering the vote of thanks.
