Dimapur Government College organized volleyball and basketball friendly matches to be played between the college and Oriental Colony on 22.04.2022 at 1:00 pm. Both games were played at Dimapur Govt. College premises.

The volleyball match was played first. The first and second set was won by Team DGC, third set by Team Oriental Colony and the fourth set by Team DGC. DGC was declared as the winner.

The basketball match was played next. It was played for three quarters and the match was won by the team DGC with the point tally of DGC- 40 & Oriental Colony -27.

The games were played to foster a sense of camaraderie between the college and the colony in which its campus is located.
