2nd Unity College Lecture Series delivered by A. Sentiyula, Assistant Professor, DGC on 17.8.2019

The 2nd Unity College Lecture series was organized by the IQAC Research Cell of Unity College in collaboration with heritage Publishing House in the Seminar Hall, Unity College on 17th August 2019.

Ms. A. Sentiyula, Assistant Professor in English, Dimapur Govt. College, delivered the lecture titled “The Emergence of Naga writings in the Face of Postmodernism.” The speaker spoke on the trends of literature in Nagaland and dissected the approaches taken by established Naga writers, especially in the backdrop of postmodernism in the global scenario. She also highlighted an emerging group of Naga writers whose styles will take shape in due course of time and place them in their respective genres of literature.

The program was chaired and moderated by Joyce Enyie, acting head of the department of English. Students and faculty attended the lecture which was followed by a lively interaction.
