Report on Blood Donation Awareness Program – 28th May, 2025.
Venue: District Civil Hospital, Dimapur.
A Blood Donation Awareness Program was organised under the initiative of Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) to promote the importance of voluntary blood donation. The program commenced with a rally from City Tower to Civil Hospital, aimed at creating public awareness.
A total of 20 NCC –SW (Girl) cadets of Dimapur government college participated in the event held at the Civil Hospital. Among them, 2 SW cadets voluntarily donated blood, each contributing approximately 350 ml to support patients in need.
As a gesture of appreciation, certificates were presented to the blood donors by Dr. Temsu M.S , District Civil Hospital, Dimapur in recognition of their selfless contribution.
