Report on World Environment Day Cleanliness Drive 5th June 2025
NCC– SW(Girls) in collaboration with college Green Campus Committee, organized a cleanliness drive under the theme “Beat plastic pollution” to commemorate World Environment Day. A total of 32 cadets, along with ANO Lt. Watisenla, participated in the initiative.
The team collected 9 bags of plastic waste from in and around the college campus. In addition to this, the team also cleaned and tended to the recently planted Ashoka saplings and old plants in both the old and new campus areas.

NCC– SW (Girls) FELICITATION CEREMONY– 30/03/2025
Venue: Raj Bhavan, Kohima
The NCC Felicitation Ceremony was held at Raj Bhavan, Kohima, under the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland, Shri La Ganesan. The event was organized to recognize and reward the achievements of outstanding NCC cadets and staff from Nagaland.
During the ceremony, the Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland presented Certificates of Excellence and a cash award of ₹5,000 each to 37 selected cadets from Nagaland State and 7 NCC staff from Kohima Group NCC as a token of appreciation.
It was a proud moment for Dimapur Government College (DGC) as one of the cadets (SW) Cpl.Suyimnaro of DGC was recognized among the awardees. She had the distinguished honor of being an RDC cadet this year—a prestigious achievement that reflects her dedication, discipline, and leadership in NCC.
The grand event was witnessed by NCC Officers,PI Staff,1GCI (Girls Cadet Instructor) and 140 Cadets.
