Consolidated Report (2024 – 2025)

25th February 2025: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed on 25th February 2025, between DGC and Eagle Crest Training Academy & Consultancy. This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration in the areas of soft skill training, internships, and skill training in the sectors of hospitality, aviation, and cruise line industries. The MoU was executed by Principal DGC, Prof. Sanjay Sharma, and CEO Eagle Crest Institute Ms. Temjenkala Aier in the presence of Dr. Vinyühu Lhoungu, Coordinator, IQAC, Dr. Maongkala Longchar, Convenor, Skill Development Committee of DGC, Mr. Imsumeren Imsong, Hospitality Training cum Business Development Executive and Ms. Juniper Phom, Training and Administrative. Head of Eagle Crest Institute.

1st March 2025: A team of 8 participants, comprising 7 registered students and coordinator Taba Yasi, attended the Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Workshop, organised by The Falcon Project in collaboration with SASRD, at SAS, Medziphema, on 1st March 2025. The workshop aimed to introduce students to entrepreneurial strategies, self-assessment tools, and innovative business thinking. It also highlighted the importance of discipline, self-awareness, and provided practical insights into the world of entrepreneurship.

25 DGC students have registered for a 3-year Soft Skill online training programme under the project. The formal launch on 28th February 2025, was followed by a workshop on the same day and another one on 1st March 2025, which was attended by the DGC team.

4th March 2025: 4th Semester students enrolled in ‘Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture’, a SWAYAM course offered by Department of History, DGC, along with teachers, attended an orientation programme on ‘Japanese Language and Culture’ organized by Educentre School of Business on 4th March 2025 at 11:00 AM at E-Space, Dimapur.

5th March 2025: The I.T. Coordinator Examination for the second batch was conducted on 5th March 2025. A total of 30 students were enrolled, out of which 27 appeared for the examination. The examination was conducted by the I.T. Trainer: John Semy Rengma, Computer Assistant, Dimapur Government College and Assessor: Rajesh Bharti. The assessment included three components: written test, practical examination, and viva voce.
