Consolidated Report on Education Club from May 2023 – June 2024

Education Club was formed on 13^th March 2023 with the aim of promoting creativity, capacity building, self-confidence and teamwork among students. The Introductory Program was held in Room No -2  at 11:00 am, Dimapur Government College. Altogether 153 students  were  present, with Teacher in charge of the Club, Madam  Limanaro, Associate Professor, Dept of Education.

Selection of new Executive Council among the students was also done. The team comprised of:

Two Executives from the 6^th Semester:  (1) Tsulemong    (2) Ahikali Yeptomi

President: Tiayanger Ao  B.A 4^th Semester

Vice President: Rendimo   B.A 2^nd Semester

Assistant G.S: Arati  B.A 2^nd Semester

The Education Club has been encouraging students in various creative and competitive events over the years since its inception. This report  highlights the participation and achievementdate in Extempore Speech Competition, Logo Painting Competition, Talent Show, Prizes distribution, certificates of appreciation.

Highlights of the events from 04.05.23 to 26.03.2025.

I. Extempore Speech Competition

    Date 04.05.2023

    Venue: Room No. 2, DGC.

    Time: 10:00 am.

    11 students took part in the competition, out of which 3 students were declared winners.

    1^st Place: Miss. Sorenbeni, B.A 6^th Semester

    2^nd Place: Mr. Tiayanger, B.A 4^th Semester

    3^rd Place: Mr. Tselemong, B.A 6^th Semester

2.  Logo  Painting  Competition

      Date: 05.09.2023

      Venue: Room No. 2, Dimapur Government College

      8 students participated in this competition.

      The winners were:

1^st Place: Miss  Ekonlumi Kikon, B.A 3^rd Semester

2^nd Place: Miss Imonenla, B.A 3^rd Semester

3^rd Place: Miss Tabita, B.A 5^th Semester

3.  Talent  Show

      Date:16.04.2024

      Venue: Seminar Hall, DGC

The Talent Show was attended by 144 students and all 8 teachers of the Department.            The winners in different categories  were:

      1^st  position: Miss. Nianchai (Poem), B.A 6^th Semester

      2^nd position: Miss. Kaboli Chishi (Solo song), B.A 6^th Semester

      3^rd   position: Miss Imonenla (Solo song), B.A 4^th Semester

      4^th  position: Miss Qhevili (Solo dance), B.A 3^rd  Semester
