Meeting minutes:
1. The HoD relayed the information received from the meeting held in hybrid mode on 2nd September, 2024 between the Vice Chancellor, NU and the Principals and HoDs of affiliated colleges (PG Programme). The following information were shared regarding PG Programme new system (i.e. from the current M.A 1st Semester):
i) Marks distribution:
Internal: 40 marks External: 60 marks
Internal marks will consist of C1 and C2
(a) C1: 20 marks
– To be completed by 2nd week of September.
– Marks of each paper to be uploaded by the concerned teacher in the University portal.
– Marks cannot be changed once it is uploaded.
(b) C2: 20 marks
– To be completed by November 1st week and uploaded by 2nd week of November.
ii) End semester exam (External) to be held in December, 2024.
iii) Paper evaluation to be done by the College teachers and marks to be uploaded in the portal. Scripts will be sent to the University for moderation.
iv) Swayam course to be introduced in M.A 1st Semester. The University will organise a workshop with regard to this.
v) There will be a Co-ordinator for Swayam courses in the colleges.
2. It was informed by the HoD that the Principal has given permission for conducting the M.A (Education) 1st Semester Freshers’ Day on 7th September, 2024.
3. The meeting was also held to screen the Research proposals submitted by 4 students of M.A (Education) 3rd Semester.
4. The research proposals were screened by all the faculty members present and the following students were selected to take up dissertation:
i) Aman Sharma
ii) Mutsoi Khmn
iii) Prakash Gurung
