Meeting minutes:

1.  The meeting was held to discuss about the modalities for M.A 3^rd Semester Internal Assessment and M.A 1^st Semester Internal Assessment (C2).

2.  The following decisions were taken by the house with regard to the aforesaid agenda:

      I.  M.A 3^rd Semester Internal Assessment (30 marks) will consist of:

• Mid-Term Exam        (15 marks)
• Seminar presentation (5 marks)                                               
• Two Assignments      (5 marks): Best of two
• Attendance                (5 marks)

          (a) Mid-Term Exam:

               Answer any three (3) questions out of five (5). Questions will be for 45 marks (3×15).

               Average will be taken.

               Date of Exam:  21^st – 24^th October, 2024.

          (b) Seminar presentation (3 Groups):  4^th, 7^th, 8^th, 9^th October, 2024.

          (c) Date of submission of the two Assignments to be taken care of by the concerned teachers.

          (d) Marks distribution for Attendance (both M.A 1^st & 3^rd Semesters):

                100% attendance (5 marks)

                     90% – 99%          (4 marks)

                     80% – 89%          (3 marks)

                     75% – 79%          (2 marks)

                     70% – 74%          (1 mark)

     II.  The components under M.A 1^st Semester Internal Assessment C2 (20 marks) was decided to be restructured as follows:

•  Assignment (10 marks): 2 Assignments (5 marks each)
•  Seminar       (5 marks)
•  Attendance  (5 marks)

           (a) Date of submission of the two Assignments to be taken care of by the concerned teachers. Assignment marks to be submitted by 15^th October, 2024.

           (b) Seminar presentation (5 Groups):  21^st – 24^th October, 2024.

3. It was informed by Ms. Imokokla, Representative from Dept. of Education in Internship Committee that the B.A (Edu) 5^th Semester Internship Interview will be taken during Honours classes from 18^th October, 2024. She added that the details for the Interview (Roll No. distribution, criteria for evaluation, etc.) would be intimated to the teachers.
