Report on Orientation Programme on GST held on 31^st Mar 2026 at DGC

            An Orientation Programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was conducted by Department of Commerce, Dimapur Govt. College in collaboration with State Taxes Department sponsored by IQAC, DGC on 31^st Marh 2026 in Seminar Hall from 9:00 am onwards.

            The Resource Person for the Prog Mr. Zulutemsu, Asst. Commissioner of State Taxes, Nagaland, Dimapur, delivered the basic concepts and the Key features of GST, with special reference to Nagaland wherein the students were fully enriched and satisfactorily benefited from the presentations.

            After according a warm welcome to the Resource Person with a large round of applause, the Programme kicked off with Mr. Mezhulhoulie Angami, Asst. Professor on the chair . Highlighting the purpose  of the Orientation Prog by the Chairperson, especially organized for the Students of B. Com and B.A 6^th Semester who are pursuing their studies on GST as a subject and equally  important for the 8^th Semester students of B.Com & B.A, the session was taken over by the resource person. Altogether, 110 students attended the programme which concluded with an interactive session in between the resource person and the students.
