Launching of Civil Services Exam Study Group – A Study Group like no other…… Career Guidance & Placement Cell (CGPC) of Dimapur Government College (DGC) started a novel study group on the 24th of April 2026 in the college Central Library for the students having civil service and other allied services as their goal in life. Three pertinent reasons prompted the college to take up this project. First reason being the inability of the economically weak students to take up coaching or buy resources in preparation for competitive exams. Secondly, the need for getting in the zone of civil services preparation before graduation. Many young graduates start figuring out the world of competitive exams only after graduation, by that time they lose a year or more getting acquainted with the syllabus and the craft of it all. Therefore, this endeavour by CGPC, DGC to temper the students to the culture of competitive exams preparation by positive exposure and adequate training in the college itself might save valuable time and resources of the students. Students can now graduate a step closer to their dream and navigate better in achieving their dream. Under this programme, the college hopes to have a well-stocked library with frequent personal inputs from civil servants and a vibrant buddy system of peer group study.
