Student’s Research Paper Presentation in National Seminar – 18-06-26
As part of the process of developing vibrant research eco-system in the college, the Department of Economics has encouraged and guided eight (8) students in the FYUGP 4th year Honours with Research in 8th semester, 2026. Three (3) out of the eight students, under the supervision of Dr. Vinyuhu Lhoungu, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, have successfully presented their research papers in the 2-Day National Seminar on GST 2.0: A Step Towards Viksit Bharat, 18 – 19 June 2026 organized by Department of Economics, Tetso College, Chumoukedima, Nagaland in collaboration with Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, on 18th June 2026 in Lorin Hall, Tetso College. Following are the students who took up the challenge and availed the opportunity:
1. Miss Abeny C. Tsanglao, on the topic, “Effects of Social Media Platforms and its Influencers on the performance of MSMEs; A Case Study in Dimapur”.
2. Miss C. Sharon Konyak, on the topic, “Consumer Demand and Spending Pattern on Online Food Delivery Services among College Students – A Case Study in Dimapur”.
3. Miss Takasangla Pongen, “Opportunities and Barriers for Women in Paid Employment in Nagaland: A Case Study of Dimapur District”.
The students had an insightful experience receiving encouragements as well as valuable feedbacks from the panel of experts.
