IBM Skillsbuild for Adult Learning (SB4AL) successfully conducted an extensive training programme from 15 to 17 September, 2026 in Dimapur Government College with Soft Skill Trainer Kamalesh Krishnaraj as the resource person.
Training sessions were organised by EDUNET Foundation (Gurugram, Haryana) in collaboration with Directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland, and IQAC and Career Guidance and Placement Cell, DGC.
The trainer introduced the IBM Skillsbuild programme whereby a student or anyone can take any course registered under it starting from machine AI learning, to a leadership course or even a simple course on writing a resume.
After completion of the varied courses, certificates that are universally accepted are awarded. These courses were free of cost and have been created by some of the brightest minds in the world. The three training sessions were absorbed well by the students and is thus a concerted effort to upskill the young minds of Nagaland, India. It was further reiterated that skilling young minds and employment go hand in hand and this kind of trainings are the need of the hour. Altogether 1600 students participated in the 3 days trainingsessions.
