The Department of Economics, Dimapur Government College, conducted a debate competition on the topic “Government Job is the Best Job” on 7th September, 2018.
The programme was chaired by Imtikokla Ozükum,Assistant Professor in Economics and moderated by Dr. Yelhi Vero, Assistant Professor in Economics. The panel of judges was Dr. Maongsangba, Associate Professor in Political Science, Meripeni, Associate Professor and HoD, History, and Lhipe Naro, Assistant Professor and HoD, Sociology.
After a lively exchange of opinions, the team speaking against the motion emerged as the winner while the individual prize went to Tingang Konyak, BA 5th Sem, group leader of the winning team.
Principal, Dimapur Government College, Kavili.Jakhalu gave a brief exhortation and Kezhaleu Hesso, Associate Professor and HoD, Economics, proposed the vote of thanks.
