The Internal Quality Assurance (IQAC) of DGC organized a one day seminar on the topic – “CBCS and its Implementation (for Teaching and Non-teaching Staff) on the 28th of March 2022. The resource persons for the two sessions were A.G. Samuel, former Controller of Examinations & Assistant Professor, Political Science, and Philemon Khumba, Assistant Controller of Examinations, both from Patkai Christian College (Autonomous).They discussed various aspects of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) which Nagaland University is planning to introduce in the near future. The prospects and challenges that colleges may face as well as preemptive steps that can be taken to make a smooth transition from the old to the new system were highlighted. Participants raised many queries and various scenarios were discussed during the discussion hour.   

The program was chaired by Dr. Vinyuhu Lhoungu, Coordinator of IQAC, DGC. DR. Libanthung Ngullie, Principal, DGC delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks was proposed by H. Chongong Phom, Accountant and member of IQAC.
