Cleanliness Drive

Total 39 Girl Cadets (SW) cadets took part in the Cleanliness Drive at the river bank of Dhansiri River,Purana Bazar, Dimapur. 20 kg of plastic waste was collected.
Visit of Commanding Officer

Col. Manjeet Katoch, Commanding Officer, 1 Nagaland Girls BN NCC visited DGC on 04/10/2023 and had an enlightening interaction with the girl cadets.38 cadets were present.

Ncc Annual Picnic

The NCC unit of the Dimapur government college organised its annual picnic at DoyapurValley. A total of 40 cadets (SW) Participated in the event along with the cadets of Senior Division (SD). The picnic aimed to foster camaraderie, teamwork and relaxation among the cadets after a busy schedule of drills, parades and academic work.

The NCC unit (SW) of DGC had the privilege of hosting Colonel Manjeet Katoch,Commanding officer,1Nagaland Girls BN NCC, Kohima .The visit was an important event for the cadets as it provided them an opportunity to engage with the senior officer and learn valuable lessons in leadership, discipline and motivation. The purpose of the commanding officer’s visit was to interact with the cadets, review the progress of the NCC unit and provide guidance for future activities of NCC. 16 cadets participated.
Farewell Program for the Outgoing Cadets (2021 Batch)

The program was organised by 2022 and 2023 batch of both SW and SD NCC, DGC batch for The outgoing cadets.The formal program was hosted by Cadet Victoria and Lcpl Yanben and the informal program was hosted by Lcpl Sinisha and Cadet Chingwang followed by candlelight dinner.
Rank Test

The NCC(SW) unit of DGC conducted a ranking test for the 2nd and 3rd year cadets.The primary objective of the test was to assist the leadership skills, discipline, physical fitness and knowledge of NCC activities among the cadets to award them appropriate ranks within the unit. The ranking test was conducted in multi stages to evaluate the cadets thoroughly that includes Written test,Drill assessment, physical fitness test,Leadership skills ,group discussion and interview with the NCC officer .The rank test was supervised and assisted by ANO and a PI staff from NCC unit ,Kohima along with the outgoing cadets . A total of 25cadets appeared the rank test.
58th Parting Social Programme

On 30th April 2024, the NCC (SW ) actively participated in the 58th parting social programme a farewell event organised for the outgoing students. A team of 12 cadets volunteered for the event for piloting and escorting the principal and the deputy commissioner, Dimapur.

The Rank Ceremony of the SW cadets was held on 01 May 2024 at the NCC office, DGC. The ceremony witnessed the participation of 25 SW cadets from the 2022 and 2023 batches. The event commenced with the declaration of the newly elected Under Officers (UOs) and other promoted ranks. This was followed by the handing and taking over ceremony, where the outgoing seniors from the 2021 batch formally transferred their responsibilities to the newly promoted cadets.
