Consolidated Report  (June 2023-MAY 2024)

• Library Orientation was conducted in the library spanning 5 sessions.  4 sessions for Arts and 1 for Commerce were held on 2^nd Aug 2023.
• Payment of library caution money for 429 students amounting to Rs 429000/- was done successfully in the month of June 2023. 
• Annual membership for E-resources consortium NLIST was renewed after paying the prescribed fees through VAN mode of payment
• The collection of the library has been enhanced with purchase of books amounting to Rs                   910000/- in 2 allocations during the period under report.
• E resource facilities have been supplemented by providing some eBooks on e- book software calibre.
• Journals featuring in UGC Care list and Scopus indexed has been subscribed. Some previous subscriptions not featuring in the above mentioned have been dropped and new subscriptions made
• Some popular magazines and periodicals are being subscribed and for the benefit of the students certain relevant magazines to prepare for the job market is also looked into.
• The student’s council has taken the initiative and apprised the concerned authority for the shifting of the library at the earliest possible time.
• Listing and display of the rare documents available in the library has been put up in the website of the institution to give it more visibility and promote and create awareness for potential users.
