The Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) conducted a cleanliness & plantation drive in the DGC campus and cleaned the open gym area. The President of the DGC Alumni Association and 10 Students’ Council members were also part of this drive. 

As an extension activity & to create awareness about the environment, the IQAC & the Eco & Beautification Club distributed saplings donated by the honourable MLA, Shri. Moatoshi Longkumer, to the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union, Act of Kindness, DUCCF on behalf of Civil Societies Dimapur Delhi Public School, The Maple Tree School and Stepping Stones School. Short speeches were delivered by Moamongla Aier & Dr. Vitsosie Vupru, highlighting the need for increasing the green cover within the rapidly growing concrete area of Dimapur. This is one of the best practices that come under the Green Campus Project of DGC.
