Strengths:

• Involved in various committees of the college and outside.

Weakness:

• Participation of faculty in research related works is below bar.
• Participation of faculty in National and International level seminars is very less.

Opportunities:

• Organise seminars and invites participants from other departments that broaden the mental horizons of the teachers.
• Department I presented with the opportunity to groom and mould the students to become educationists and teachers.
• Department takes the opportunity to train other faculty members on teaching techniques and lesson plans.

Challenges: 

• Department is trying to compete with other educational institutions offering the same course in the state.

• To offer a choice based credit system on learning techniques.
• To maintain a database to track the academic and career progression of graduates from the department.
