Strengths:

• Faculty members participation in seminars and conferences at the national and international levels is very limited.
• Faculty members’ involvement in research-related works is still insufficient.

Opportunities:

• The department has the ability to develop and instruct the students in a variety of leadership qualities.
• Organise seminars by inviting participants from other departments that broaden the mental horizons of the teachers.
• The Department takes the opportunity to provide other faculty members with training on lesson planning and teaching strategies.

Challenges: 

• The Department is working to compete with other educational establishments in the state that provide the same course.

• Managing the high enrolment of students in the subject each year without compromising the quality of instruction.
• To offer a choice based credit system on learning techniques.
• To maintain a database to track the academic and career progression of graduates from the department.
