Strengths:

• Low participation of faculty in National and International-level seminars and conferences.
• Inadequate number of books and reference materials for the PG level.

Opportunities:

• High potential to outsource the research expertise of the faculty members.
• With the experience of the faculty, there is high scope to develop capacity building and leadership qualities to the students.
•  The PG Programme can act as a catalyst to promote research activities.
• The department can play a crucial role in executing the guidelines of the NEP 2020.

Challenges: 

• To effectively manage the consistently high enrolment of students in the department and maintain the good academic standard.
• To expand the pool of skilled instructors to manage UG and PG courses efficiently.
• To improve the database that monitors department graduates’ career and academic growth.
