About the Department
The Department was established in the year 2014. The motto of the Department is” Nurture Nature” as it envisions to create awareness and develop an attitude of concern for the environment. The Mission of the department is :
- To disseminate knowledge to the students about environmental problems.
- To impress on their minds and motivate the need to practice eco-friendly living and help them know more sustainable way of life.
- Impart education to the students that is truly value based.
Courses offered:
The Department was offering EVS as a compulsory paper in the 5th semester and in the 6th semester as a Choice Based Credit Paper. However, in the advent of NEP 2020 curriculum (i.e. FYUGP course), the Department only offers Multidisciplinary Course (MD), Skill Enhancement Course(SEC) and Value Added Course(VAC).
