Department of Political Science, Dimapur Govt. College organised “A Motivational Talk: Roadmap to Career Opportunities” for the graduating honours students at Seminar Hall at 1:30 pm on 25th April’2022.
The program was chaired by Sedevino Jakhalu, Associate Prof., and A. Moamongla Aier, Associate Prof. introduced the resource person Shri. Rajashekara (IPS) Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tuensang, Nagaland. Dr. M. Libanthung Ngullie, Principal, DGC delivered welcome address.
Shri. Rajashekara (IPS) highlighted the roadmap to the Indian Civil Services i.e., on exam pattern, strategies to adopt for exam preparation, the required study material, subject combination so and so forth. He advised the students to use technology to their advantage while warning them of the dangers of social media and emphasised that the key to success was focus, hard-work, consistency, determination and time management. It was followed by an interactive session with the students.
Pilila Sangtam of 6th Semester spoke on behalf of Political Science honours students. She gave feedback and thanked the department for arranging the program and expressed words of gratitude to the resource person for the timely and much needed advice. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Khrienuo Angami, HoD, department of Political Science.
The program was attended by 68 participants out of which 55 were students.
