	ANNUAL PLAN	ACTION TAKEN
1	To organize Inter Departmental/ National Seminars	As the Research and Development Cell changed it’s policy and decided to give chance to pursuing Ph.D. teachers in the college, the department’s turn did not come within the time frame.
2	To carry out Minor/Major Research Projects from outside funding agencies	Minor Research project Report Submitted to Department of Higher Education, Nagaland in August,2024
3	a)To organize an exposure trip with M.A.4th semester students for gaining life skills activity. b) To organize an exposure trip with 6th semester under graduate students for gaining life skills activity.	a)On 21^st February, the department took M.A. final semester students to Little Kids School, Diphu, Assam, where students participated in teaching practice session in several classes of the school and gained hands-on experience on understanding effective classroom transactions and learner dynamics. b) On 26^th March, 2025, the department took undergraduate 6^th semester students to Old age home (A house of Friendship) at landmark Hill View colony, Dimapur on the theme ‘Spreading Joy and Love’. The students enthusiastically participated in various activities like sharing experiences, songs, delivered motivational talk on love and joy, living a happy life and learning to live together.
4	To continue with the 6^th Semester University subject Topper’s cash and citation Award.	Mr. Toto K. Awomi as the subject topper was given cash and citation award on 25th July,2024.
5	To Continue with Department cash contribution to student welfare committee for needy students in the college	Contributed to the Welfare Committee
6	To Provide quality education and ensure 100% pass percentage	100% achieved
7	To organize Graduating day and enlighten them about their career prospectus after graduation	The Department organized an orientation programme on 17^th April,2025 at CIHSR, Dimapur where two eminent resource persons deliberated about the career path after graduation.
