Meeting minutes:
1. The meeting was convened by the HoD to brief the faculty members about the information received at the local Board of Studies (BoS) Education meeting held at Meriema on 18th October, 2024. The following information were conveyed by the HoD:
i) M.A 1st Semester C2 Marks (Two Assignments, Seminar & Attendance) to be uploaded in the 1st week of November. With regard to this, it was decided by the house to do the moderation of marks for C2 on 30th October, 2024 (Wednesday) at 1 p.m.
ii) As had been informed earlier, the evaluation for M.A 1st Semester External Exam will be done by the teachers, an official Notification of which will be issued by the University in the near future.
iii) M.A 3rd Semester Internal Marks to be submitted to the University by the end of November.
iv) The 3 (three) dissertations of M.A 3rd Semester, DGC were approved by the University at the BoS meeting, and certain modifications were made in the dissertation topic by the University at the said meeting.
v) The University has approved 2 Value-added Courses (VAC) for UG Programme to be offered under the Department of Education which will be introduced by the next academic session.
2. A discussion was also held regarding the marking system of the M.A Internal Assessment, and it was decided that the students would be awarded the marks they deserve in their Internal Assessment.
