Meeting minutes:

1. The meeting was convened by the HoD to brief the faculty members about the information received from the HoD, Department of Education, Nagaland University regarding the Dissertation for M.A (Education) 3^rd Semester. The information relayed by the HoD at the meeting were as follows:

      i)   The Department of Education, DGC need not establish a Research Board as it is required only for those guiding Ph.D students. Therefore, the Research Board constituted in the last Departmental Faculty Meeting held on 28^th August, 2024 remains dissolved.

     ii)   To ensure that the dissertation topics already taken up in the past are not repeated.

     iii)  The research proposals need not be sent to the University for approval/correction. They will be handled only by the teachers.

     iv)   Total Marks for Dissertation: 100 (External: 70 marks   Internal: 30 marks)

1. External (70 marks) will cover Chapter I, II & III to be submitted to the University in the month of October or November, 2024.
2. Internal (30 marks) will be assessed on Synopsis, presentation, regularity, capacity and Assignment.
3. Chapter IV, V & VI to be covered in the 4^th Semester.
