The Indian National flag was hoisted at DGC on the occasion of the 71st Republic Day of India. A short program was held in order to commemorate the day.
Principal–in-charge Alemla Imsong hoisted the National tricolour which was followed by the singing of National Anthem.
In her address she highlighted the significance of the day. She also mentioned that it is an occasion to reaffirm our commitment to our ideals and values of liberty, equality, fraternity and justice across society. We are also expected to fulfill our responsibilities as citizens first before claiming our rights. She encouraged the gathering to remain true to our commitment to lead our country towards progress, enlightenment and greatness. The guard of honour and parade was led by the NCC wing of the college. The program was attended by teaching and non teaching staff of the college.
