The Research Committee of DGC in collaboration with the IQAC, DGC organized an inter-departmental seminar which was conducted jointly by the departments of Economics and Englishon the 19th of February, 2022 in the Seminar Hall of the college.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Vinyuhu Lhoungu. Pudezono Tase, Astt. Professor, dept of Economics presented titled “Government Sector Employment in Nagaland.” Shuiching Konyak, Assistant Professor, dept. of English read out a joint paper written with Alemtula , Associate Professor, dept. of English titled “Song Stitchers and Knowledge Keepers: An Introduction to Traditional Storytellers and their Craft.”
This was followed by a discussion. Honours students from Economics and English departments also attended the seminar along with members of the faculty of the college.
Vivi Swu, Assistant Professor, department of History, gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the organizers.
