Farewell Program of Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Principal, Dimapur Government College
The Farewell Program of Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Principal, Dimapur Government College (DGC) was held on 12.04.2025 at the Central Library of DGC.
In a warm and heartfelt program organised by the college, the faculty, staff and students gathered to honour the retiring Principal. The program was also attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Tourism, Government of Nagaland, Shri. Temjen Imna Along, the Alumni Association & Parent Teacher Association of DGC.
Various speeches were made by the teachers, non-teaching staff, Alumni and Parent Teacher Associations and the Students’ Council and the various units in the college and all of them highlighted the commitment and contribution of the retiree during his illustrious career and his stint as Principal in DGC.
Dr. Vinyuhu Lhoungu the IQAC Cordinator of DGC gave a report of the various achievements and projects taken up under his leadership and thanked him for developing DGC into a premier institute in the state.
Shri. Temjen Imna Along, Minister for Higher Education also congratulated Prof. Sanjay Sharma and thanked him for his exemplary service to the state of Nagaland.
In his farewell speech, Prof. Sharma, thanked the DGC family for the organising such a special and heartwarming program while highlighting the areas in which the college has room to grow.
