As part of community extension service, the department of Political Science of Dimapur Govt College conducted a beautification and plantation drive within the Dimapur city premises on 11 July 2020 from 5.00 am onwards. The initiative was taken up in order to inculcate a sense of community participation among students and also to infuse a of sense of aesthetics and cleanliness. This area is to be adopted and maintained by the department.
