Taking a day break from the busy schedule the Dimapur Government College Teachers Association (DGCTA) organized an outing for its faculty members on 25th March 2022 at Longso  Eco-Tourism Park, Karbi Anglong, Assam. Longso Kangthu Eco-Tourism Park is a beautiful picnic spot located around 50 Kms away from Dimapur city. It took about an hour to reach the picnic spot. The members had a fun time in the park strolling, hiking, wading through water and exploring the beauty of nature. It also gave an opportunity to the faculty members to spend more time with one another strengthening the bond of friendship and unity. There was also a short gathering where Principal Dr M. Libanthung Ngullie delivered a word of encouragement. The faculty members expressed their thanks and gratitude to the organizers and the Principal for arranging an outing program which was refreshing. The Principal was also kind enough to provide the college bus for conveyance.
