K P Bora Deputy Manager, Kaziranga University Assam, was the resource person at a motivational & career guidance seminar organized by the Career Counselling & Placement Cell of Dimapur Govt. College on the 4^th of Feb, 2020 in the college premises.

He began by emphasizing that Kaziranga University is a career University. However, the success that a person achieves in life in life differs from person to person based on individual value. In the whole of the country, 85% of graduates are not employable. He challenged the students not to remain ignorant but to make mistakes, since we learn from our mistakes.

Further he said that North East students have the knowledge and skills at par with the rest of the country but they are hesitant and afraid to ask questions. Stating that it is only when we ask that we know, he stated that there is no question that is silly. He encouraged the gathering to raise and ask questions.

He concluded by saying that for someone to be successful, a passion for learning is most important. It is never too late to learn. He urged the students to take decisions, believe in themselves and develop confidence. Altogether 150 students from 6^th semester (BA/B.Com) attended the meeting.
