An orientation programme for the introduction of M.A Education for students was held at the Science Block, Dimapur Govt. College at 10.30 am. The programme was started with the brief introduction by the chairperson Ms Keweu Vupru, Associate Professor, dept. of Education. Ms. Sedevino, HoD, dept. of Political Science, invoked the blessings ofGod through prayer. Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Principal, DGC, delivered the welcome address and conveyed his gratitude to all HoDs, faculty members of Education, Librarian, Sr. H.A and the newly admitted postgraduate students for attending the programme. In his speech he encouraged the HoDs of other departments to plan on introduction of postgraduate courses in Dimapur Govt. College. Ms Diethoseu Mepfhuo, HoD, dept. of Education, thanked everyone for gracing and attending the occasion and also requested their continued support to the department in the days to come. In the second session Dr. Hare Krushna Parhi, Asst. Prof., dept. of Education gave an orientation on the complete structure of M.A programme, evaluation procedure and the steps of research followed in dissertation writing to the students.
