The Department of History, Dimapur Govt.College organized a virtual Felicitation Programme for the passing out 6th Semester History Honours students on 12th November, 2020. The programme was chaired by Ms. Meripeni Ngully, Associate Professor, the HOD, while the welcome address was given by Ms. Bokali Shohe, Asst Professor. The department felicitated the subject topper Miss Toshimenla Ozukum for securing the highest score in the subject from the college and all the successful students. Speeches from the subject topper, from the outgoing students and from the present students were delivered. Vilodi Sakhrie, Pastor Town Baptist Church delivered his message based on the Bible verse Proverbs 22:29. He said that the programme was unique and encouraged the students to excel in whatever work they do irrespective of what job or profession one takes up. A dedicatory prayer for the students was offered by the Pastor. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Neisenou Apon Rengma, Asstt. Professor.
