Girls Hostel of Dimapur Government College organized its first Sports Day on 14th February 2026. This event was special because it marked the beginning of sports activities in the DGC Girls Hostel. The day was filled with excitement, unity, and enthusiasm among all the girls. The students formed three teams: Team Titans, Dominators, and Eagles. Each team participated actively and showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit throughout the event.
Various games were organized, including both groups and individual events. The games included football, rally races, balloon fights, musical chairs, throwball, and arm wrestling, along with other fun activities. The group games encouraged cooperation, coordination, and unity among team members. The individual games allowed participants to showcase their personal talents and strengths. Every participant gave their best effort, making the competition lively and enjoyable.
At the end, Team Titans emerged as the Overall Champions. The event also honored six Most Valuable Players (MVPs) for their outstanding performance.
Overall, the first Sports Day of the DGC Girls Hostel was a success. It created wonderful memories and set a strong foundation for many more such events in the future. Everyone had a great time, making the day truly unforgettable.
