Report on Participation in the District Level Youth Festival 2026
The District Youth Resources and Sports Office (DYRSO), Dimapur, organised District Level Youth Festival 2026 at the MDSC Indoor Hall, Dimapur, on September 16, 2026. The festival provided a platform for young people to showcase their talents and cultural skills through competitions.
The Dimapur Government College (DGC) students also participated in folk dance and declamation competition. Kuki Student Union, Dimapur Government College secured first and Sumi Student Union, Dimapur Government College secured second position respectively in folk dance competition. In the Declamation competition, Mr.Hetiba T. Sangtam of BA 3rd semester, Department of Political Science, secured first position and furthermore got selected for the State-level competition to be held on 29th September at I.G stadium, Kohima.
