Department of Economics

The Department of Economics was introduced in the year 1966 since the time of establishment of the College. The motto of the department is “Inspire, Motivate and Equip”. The Department of Economics was offering both Honours and Pass Course to undergraduate degree course. However, in the advent of NEP 2020 curriculum (i.e. FYUGP course), only Honours course is being offered. Currently, the department is manned by five (5) dedicated faculty members.
